Refund & Cancellation Policy
How subscription billing, cancellation, and refunds work for CourseFPX.
1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for CourseFPX subscriptions. It applies alongside our Terms of Service. CourseFPX is self-serve subscription software (a study platform), so billing is recurring and you stay in control of your plan from inside your account.
We want you to be confident using CourseFPX. If something isn’t right, contact us first at contact@coursefpx.com — most issues are resolved quickly. “Business days” means Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. All amounts are billed in U.S. dollars (USD) through our payment processor, Stripe.
2. Subscriptions and automatic renewal
Subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing cycle (for example, monthly) and renew automatically at the then-current rate until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize these recurring charges. Current plan details and the tools each plan includes are shown inside the Service before you subscribe.
3. How to cancel
You may cancel at any time from your account settings, or by emailing contact@coursefpx.com from your account email. The following applies unless stated otherwise for your plan:
- Cancellation stops future renewals. When you cancel, you will not be charged for the next cycle. Your access continues until the end of the current paid cycle, after which the subscription ends.
- No partial-period refunds. Because access continues through the end of the cycle you have paid for, we do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a current billing cycle, except where required by law or as described below.
- Annual or multi-cycle plans (if offered) follow the cancellation and refund terms shown at purchase.
4. Refunds
Because CourseFPX is a digital service you can access immediately, fees are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun and the Service has been made available to you. We will, however, consider a refund in good faith in situations such as:
- Duplicate or accidental charges, or a charge after a timely cancellation took effect;
- A billing error on our side; or
- A sustained technical fault that prevented you from meaningfully using the Service and that we were unable to resolve after you reported it.
A refund is not available simply because you did not use the Service during a paid period, changed your mind, or did not achieve a particular academic result. As stated in our Terms and Disclaimer, CourseFPX is a study aid and makes no guarantee of any grade, score, completion, or outcome. Any free trial or introductory offer follows the terms shown at sign-up; if you do not cancel before a trial ends, the plan converts to a paid subscription.
5. How to request a refund
Email contact@coursefpx.com from your account email with your name, the charge date and amount, and the reason for your request. We will acknowledge within two business days.
6. Refund processing
We approve or decline refund requests within ten (10) business days of receiving the information needed to evaluate them. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We confirm the refund amount with you before it is processed.
7. Disputes and chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can investigate and make it right. Filing a chargeback for a subscription you used, or for amounts properly due under your plan and this policy, may be treated as a breach of our Terms and may result in suspension of your account. We keep clear records (account activity, plan, and communications) and will respond to payment-processor disputes with that documentation.
