Acceptable Use Policy
How you may and may not use the CourseFPX study platform.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes how you may and may not use the CourseFPX study platform (the “Service”). It supplements our Terms of Service. We may update it as needed to protect our users, our partners, and the integrity of the Service.
2. Academic integrity
Use the Service to support your own learning. You are responsible for your own work and for complying with your school’s academic-integrity policies and honor code. You are solely responsible for following your school’s rules and for the academic consequences of your own conduct.
3. Other prohibited activities
You may not use the Site or Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Infringe intellectual-property rights or misappropriate trade secrets or confidential information;
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, data-mine, or bulk-download the Service or its content, or access it by any automated means, except as we expressly permit;
- Copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, share, or publicly post the Service or its study guides, practice questions, tools, or other content, or use them to build, train, or supply a competing product or service;
- Share, sell, or transfer your account or login credentials, or access the Service through another person’s account without authorization;
- Upload or transmit malware or other harmful code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to, probe, scan, or test the security of the Service or related systems;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, availability, or performance of the Service, or circumvent usage, rate, or fair-use limits;
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or that you do not have the right to submit;
- Send spam, or misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or relationship with any school; or
- Use the Service to misrepresent any affiliation with, or endorsement by, Capella University or any school.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may warn, suspend, or terminate access to the Service, remove content, apply usage limits, and report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities. Violations of this AUP are also a breach of our Terms of Service, and may result in termination without refund.
